Hi, I'm Kirsty and I'm a social media, marketing and communications specialist with a passion for working with non-profits, small business and SMEs,  having spent almost 20 years in the media, marketing and communications industries.

 

I'm Franc by name and frank by nature. I'm a straight shooter and I'm all about cutting through the white noise and confusion that often surrounds social media, PR and marketing.

 

I've helped charities and businesses, both in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, kick start their social media presence, target limited resources and create highly-engaged online communities. I have presented as a social media and online specialist at lots of different workshops and industry events including the Fundraising Institute of Australia, Connecting Up and Interactive Minds Brisbane.

I started my career as a radio journalist at Sydney's Radio 2UE, Canberra's 2CA and SeaFM on the Gold Coast, before specialising in social media, marketing and public relations. I've worked for commercial, government and not-for-profit organisations, including online travel company Wotif.com, where I headed up the organisation's PR and Social Media, the Queensland Police Service, RACQ CareFlight Rescue (Now LifeFlight), Alzheimer's Australia and MetaSport Singapore. I've managed social media strategies for large online communities of more than 150,000.
